Station Quality Control

Those instructions are work in progress.

The QC computation is done using the mnoise-qc package. The following steps are based on a standard MSNoise workflow and supplemented by LargeN and QC commands.

Initialization

If required, create an empty database on the local MySQL server.

  • largen install: to create the msnoise database.
  • largen set_defaults: to define parameters.
  • largen populate: to identify the stations in the newly made SDS.
  • largen config --sync: to update the stations coordinates.

Database

  • largen scan_archive --init: to scan the newly made SDS archives.
  • largen new_jobs --nocc: to create the QC jobs (and no CC jobs).

QC Computation

  • largen p qc compute: to compute the QC jobs.

QC Plotting

  • largen admin: to show the Dashboard and select the QC parameters.

Once decided, edit the corresponding section in the config.ini file and then:

  • largen station_book: to plot 1 PDF file per channel.
